Il Casale is located on the hills of Castrocaro Terme and Terra del Sole, an ancient center of Romagna-Toscana (14 kilometres from Forlì; 45 kms from Ravenna and about 90 from Florence).
The farm, just 3 kms from the spa and thermal baths of Castrocaro Terme, is easible accessible by paved road and is right above the old Medieval Fortress, with a privileged view of the Adriatic Sea (which is about forty kilometers) and over the entire valley of the Montone river to the peaks of the Apennines (San Benedetto in Alpe – Acquacheta), which lead to Florence.

By car
From the A14 Adriatic Bologna-Ancona motorway, take the Forlì exit. Continue along State Road 67 (direction Florence) or along Provincial Road 56. Once in Castrocaro, in front of the Grand Hotel, turn into Piazza Mazzini and continue for about 2 km along the road that passes behind the Castle; keep left at the fork and finally take the short downhill road on the left, indicated by the sign “Agriturismo il Casale”.
By train
On the Bologna-Ancona line, get off at the station of Forlì.
By bus
Castrocaro can be reached by Start Romagna bus (www.startromagna.it): Line 91, departing outside Forlì Station (FS) platform D, every 30 minutes; Line 127 (direction Rocca S. Casciano), departing at Forlì “Punto Bus” bus terminal, every 60/120 minutes. In both cases, it is advisable to get off in Castrocaro Terme at the stop in front of the Spa: let us know your arrival time and we will be happy to pick you up.

By bicycle or on foot
From Castrocaro, turn in front of the Grand Hotel, into Via Fratta. Follow the road, which passes behind the Castle, for about 2 km, keep left at the fork; take the downhill road on the left, indicated by the “Agriturismo il Casale” sign.
